Medeazza is an old village of Karts originally located nearby the Hermada hill.

During the First World War it was located on the south side of the river Isonzo. Following the destruction in 1917 it was rebuilt. In 1944 it was burned and raised to the ground by fascists. The action was reported to history as the revenge for the attack made to the main railway by Partisans.
